The state recently opened up internet gaming and sports betting.īy the end of last year, 18 internet casinos and 13 online sportsbooks were operating in the state.
Sixteen casinos are located across the state - including three in the midstate. Pennsylvania collected $4.83 billion in 2021. The casinos collectively also had their best first quarter ever, falling just short of the $14.35 billion they won from gamblers in the fourth quarter of last year, which was the highest three-month period in history.
